CLOUDBOND007It stalks me. Though time and space itself, it stalks me. And when space and time align once again, it strikes.

CB007 Death Countdown 2009
- Fever 100 degrees. I think H1N1 progresses much faster than this, though. |

I don't think I'll get the H1N1 vaccine. I don't work with sick people, or children, and I'm not usually around too many people. So hopefully
my odds of getting it will be low. Also, I think there is not enough vaccine to go around for people who need it more than I do.

I haven't decided yet. I do work with a lot of customers.
My fever seems to be gone, but I decided to stay home from work. I feel like I still need some more rest. Things were at their worst last evening. |

Maybe you're like Mr. Burns in that episodes of The Simpsons where the doctor was trying to shove a bunch of little pom-pom critters through a little door
while making Three Stooges noises to illustrate the diseases he has.

I think I have severe bronchitis. I don't think it's progressed to pneumonia but I'm no longer in any mood to be making death jokes, I'll tell
you that. I'll probably have to bite the bullet and see a doctor now unless I magically get better tomorrow. No insurance, of course.

Do you think you got it from a customer?
I've noticed that I get sick much less often than I used to -- "used to" being when I was in high school or younger. Having to always be around 30 or so dirty kids probably isn't good for one's health. Also, I had to take the bus so I was out in the cold a lot. Although I think the science says you won't get sick just by being out in the cold, I think it does weaken your immune system. There was one time I got pretty sick (sick enough to vomit) since high school, and I believe I got that from my brother -- who still was in school. I think when I was a kid, I never went one full year without getting sick at all. I might not have been vomiting, but there were years when I had sinus troubles all winter long. |

Possibly. A co-worker's relative did get pneumonia shortly before I got sick, but the co-worker herself was not sick. So I don't know if that can be a
link or not. The relative herself was in the building for a minute or two, but we didn't really have any interaction or go near each other, and I can't
remember if the time frame really fits.
I seem to get really sick once every few years (Halloween 2006 which I've mentioned), but I do get some minor colds here and there that seem to go away in a couple of days. I think I am now officially better. I still have one more day of antibiotics to take and then I hope this will be behind me. I was honestly pretty scared for a couple of days there. |
